Venue Comments

According to Ina Bertrand there was a Jubilee Skating Rink at 367 Nicholson Street (corner of Lee St) from 1896 to around 1906. There was a Jubilee Theatre at the same address from 1914 to 1918- this may have been the same building or may have been a new building.

The Adelphi was at this address from 1923 and was an Associated Theatres cinema in 1925, screening Paramount films.

From April 1964-April 1967, as run by the Vitale-Tammaro families; converted to the San Remo Ballroom, and re-opened as such by the Vitale-Tammaro families in June 1967.
